All meetings for regular session
of Village of Kelleys Island Council
are held at the Town Hall on
Division St. During the months
of May, June, July, August, and
September, the meetings are on
the 2nd Thursday of each month
at 7:00 pm. During the months of
October, November, December,
January, February, March, and
April the meetings are held on
the second Saturday of each of
the months at 10:00 am.

of Trustees of Public Affairs occur
the first Thursday of each month
at 7:00 pm at the Municipal
Building at 121 Addison Street

Departments - Board of Zoning Appeals

The Board of Zoning Appeals is a quasi-judicial board that decides cases brought before it by petitioners who have been denied a zoning permit because their zoning application does not conform to the Village of Kelleys Island zoning laws. Usually the way to this board is through contact with the Zoning Inspector. A Board of Zoning Appeals application must be filed by the petitioner, with the current fee, in order to bring the board into session.

The Board of Zoning Appeals is composed of five members appointed by the Mayor, each with a four year term.

The current members on the Board of Zoning Appeals and their term limits:

Gary Finger  12-31-2008
Tom Cilimburg  12-31-2009
Scott Stevenson 12-31-2010
Chris Wise  12-31-2007

Gary Finger is the Planning Commission member.
Jacqueline Kranyak is the Chairperson.
